‘Holidays are coming’- Coca-Cola teases huge Christmas truck tour for 2021

Coca-Cola has teased the festive return of its beloved Christmas Truck Tour 2021 urging people to keep their eyes on social media. The drinks giant is remaining tight-lipped on its full tour schedule but it’s thought the iconic red truck will visit more than 40 locations across the UK from the end of November. And the excitement among fans that the holidays are officially coming back again is building with the tour signalling the start of the festive period for many, the Daily Star reports.

Go here for the very latest news updates from across the North East Twitter users have already quizzed Coca-Cola about its UK truck return which in previous years, saw hundreds travel to grab a free bottle of Coca-Cola and snap a festive picture. The tour was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, causing bitter disappointment for many Brits.

Coca-Cola GB has been leaving cryptic responses that all but tell Christmas fans news of its journey is imminent. In response to one woman tweeting: “Patiently waiting for the Christmas @CocaCola_GB truck tour to be announced…” The drinks giant replied: “Keep your eyes on our socials…”

Replying to another post, Coca-Cola wrote: “We’re just recruiting the last of our reindeer…” Another concerned fan asked: “So not even a clue if it is coming back?” But Coca-Cola replied: “Holidays are coming…” with a Santa Claus emoji sure to send followers into a frenzy.

Other hints include the brand writing: “We’ve spoken to Santa and he seems pretty eager to us.” Some Twitter users are hoping the big reveal takes place this weekend. Some fans are even planning to put their Christmas tree up once the dates of the truck tour are revealed, with Coca-Cola suggesting that it’s almost time to “start dusting off the decs”.

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour locations are always a topic eagerly anticipated by fans, as they want the chance to be able to see the festive trailer for themselves. It appears more locations could be on the list, as Coca-Cola said on social media: “We update our route every year to make sure we include more and more locations. We hope we get to see you!”

The fizzy drink giant pledged to return in 2021 when they announced the news, tweeting: “We know it’s disappointing, but we’ll continue to share special Christmas moments throughout the festive season. We look forward to seeing you next year!” Brits shared their disappointment on the app last year as they were going to have to make do with just the iconic advert.

One Coca-Cola fan tweeted: “Noooo it’s the official start to Christmas for us. Never mind – look forward to the advert though.” Another said: “Thank goodness I got to see it last year.

At least it will appear in the Christmas advert hopefully!”
