Truckfest North West in Cheshire

A truck extravaganza is set to take place in Cheshire this weekend. Truckfest North West will be held at Cheshire Showground in Knutsford on Saturday, October 9, and Sunday, October 10. The popular event will feature monster truck car crushing as well as a motorbike stunt show.

Truckers, truck fans and families will be able to walk around the showground getting photographs of the UKs top trucks on display, including classics of yesteryear to giant American Super trucks. There will also be fun fair rides, live music and children’s characters for visitors to enjoy.

What the event involves

The event will offer an array of entertainment for all the family to enjoy.

Visitors will get a glimpse of new trucks from leading manufacturers, along with product launches. The main arena will host a monster truck show as well as the Broke FMX motorbike stunt show. There will also be fun fair rides, live music and children’s characters.

How to get there

The event is being held at Cheshire Showground on Flittogate Lane in Tabley, Knutsford, WA16 0HJ.

If you’re driving, the best way to reach the Showgrounds is via the M6. The venue is approximately 1.5 miles from Junction 19. The best way to reach the venue via rail is to take the train to Knutsford train station and then getting a taxi outside.

Unfortunately, the Showgrounds isn’t well serviced by bus, and organisers say there isn’t a bus service to get there. However, it’s only five miles from Knutsford train station for those wishing to get a taxi. For those driving, visitor parking is free and available on site.

Limited disabled parking spaces are also allocated, but those requiring disabled parking are asked to display their blue badge on arrival to the show. Got something to say on this story? Let us know.

Start times

The festival starts at 9am on Saturday and finishes at 5.30pm. On Sunday, the festival starts at 9am and finishes slightly earlier, at 4.30pm.

The camping gate will open between 12pm and 8pm on Friday and 7am and 9am Saturday. Those arriving after this time on Saturday are asked to enter on foot via the Exhibitor Gate. The camping package includes show tickets for Saturday and Sunday and entry to the evening entertainment on Saturday.

The organisers asked anyone with these tickets to please vacate the site by 11am on Monday.

In a move to assure people, organisers have said that Truckfest are offering a full ticket refund guaranteed should the event not go ahead.

How much are tickets?

Ticket prices vary depending on when you purchase them.

Those purchasing advanced day tickets will be charged the following:

  • Adult: GBP15
  • Child (5-15 years): GBP6
  • Family (two adults and two children): GBP36

On the day tickets will cost the following:

  • Adult: GBP17
  • Child (5-15 years): GBP8
  • Family (two adults and two children): GBP42

Children under five will be able to gain entry to the event for free.
