Crash involving three Army trucks on A38 leaves one man dead

A man has died after a crash involving three Army trucks and a HGV on the A38. The 53-year-old man, who has not been named, was the driver of the HGV and sustained serious injuries in the accident on the dual carriageway yesterday, Wednesday, September 29. Emergency services attended the scene and transferred the truck driver to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he was pronounced dead later that day.
